 General thoughts after a week of usage/size comparison/practicality/interesting things:

 • This is a slightly different review - today we'll check out the Titaner multi-function titanium pen. This is a 3-in-1 ballpoint pen, touch screen pen, and a hidden self-defense / glass-breaking tip.

• So why should you buy a titanium pen? Well, because you can. But seriously, I have a bunch of titanium flashlights and it's obvious that they are a lot more durable and feel more solid than aluminum ones. This is due to the higher density and weight of titanium.

（1）Overall Construction, operation 

• Overall, construction quality is excellent and it looks like a premium product. The design is downplayed. Dull-gray finish - there's some knurling to add grip on a couple areas. Steel pocket clip on the end. Takes a G2 refill, which can be easily found in various brands. It's surprising how robust the pen feels, even though it's quite thin @8mm diameter, 137mm long, and weighs 15 grams. The threads are smoothly machined, and hard-wearing.

• Bolt-action style deployment. I didn't realize this at first and was trying to pull the switch directly up and down. Needs to move down and to the side to deploy. Feels smooth and fun as a fidget toy.

• Titaner states that the pen is laser engravable - they may have applied some kind of coating, but titanium can be engraved even by a diode laser. 

(2) Performance - longevity, practicality 

• Writing test.

• This feels like a pen that takes a good beating before giving in - I also find unanodized titanium wears nicely, unlike anodized aluminum which dents and scratches easily.

• This is the type of pen you'd carry around in your pocket, or backpack if you want something functional yet do not even know it's there until you need it.

（3）Considerations

 • Tactical tip is designed to be concealed under the rubber tip. You can remove the rubber tip, as it dampens the blow, but in an emergency situation, the metal would easily piece through.

 • Costs several times what a normal pen would. But it has excellent durability and refills are easily found in office supply shops.

 • Feels light, it's also fairly thin so probably not ideal for someone with larger hands.

• Would have liked the knurling to extend back further for extra grip when using the tactical tip. Also would have liked it if they used a thicker clip too. 

(4) Verdict 

• This is an excellent multi-function pen/stylus for someone who also wants that tactical function。I like how robust this pen is, given it only weighs 15 grams.
