Operating Instructions

1. Blade Deployment
Press the Flipper Tab with thumb or index finger to swing the blade open. Upon full deployment, the Nested Liner Lock automatically engages the blade tang with a crisp mechanical click—confirming secure lockup. Ambidextrous design: no configuration changes needed for left/right-handed use.

2. Lock Verification
After each deployment, visually confirm the liner lock is fully seated against the blade tang. In locked position, the blade must exhibit zero vertical play or side-to-side wobble.

3. Blade Closing
Grip the handle firmly with one hand. With the thumb of your other hand, slide the liner lock tab sideways away from the tang to disengage. While maintaining pressure on the lock tab, slowly fold the blade into the handle until fully closed.
💡 Pro Tip: Always keep fingers clear of the blade path. Never snap the blade shut rapidly to avoid pinching injuries.

4. Pocket Clip Installation & Use
Secured with T6 flat-head screws flush to the handle surface to prevent fabric snagging. For adjustment or removal, use a correctly sized screwdriver.

Maintenance & Care

High-Performance Blade Steel (M390 / 14C28N)
Both steels offer exceptional corrosion resistance. Proper care ensures longevity:
● Wipe blade with soft cloth after each use to remove moisture, debris, or residues.

GR5/TC4 Titanium Handle

DLC Coating
Diamond-Like Carbon coating delivers superior scratch/corrosion resistance. Clean as with titanium handle. Avoid concentrated scratching with sharp objects.

Nano-Ceramic Coating
Features anti-fingerprint and antibacterial properties. Maintenance identical to titanium handle. Avoid abrasive contact.

Locking Mechanism & Pivot
Factory precision-calibrated—no routine lubrication needed. Ceramic detent ball minimizes metal friction for smooth long-term operation. If pivot resistance changes after heavy use, apply a micro-dot of professional knife oil. Avoid excess to prevent dust accumulation.
⚠️ Note: Main pivot uses T8 screw; flipper tab uses T6 screw. Do not disassemble or modify lock structure.

Sharpening Guidance
● M390 (60–62 HRC): Exceptional edge retention. Sharpen with 1000–3000+ grit whetstones or professional service.
● 14C28N: Excellent toughness and sharpenability. Standard whetstones restore edge efficiently.
● Daily upkeep: Use a leather strop with light edge-leading strokes to prolong sharpness.
