Operating Instructions

1. 3-Level Locking System
The Qianji Lock features a patented triple-layer physical locking system. Select the security level suited to your scenario:

• Level 1: Quick Access Mode
  Ideal for daily commutes and frequent access.
  ● Lock: Insert the bolt; the ruby-bead mechanism engages automatically with a crisp mechanical click.
  ● Unlock: Press the ruby button while applying gentle pull force → release button → withdraw bolt.
  💡 Pro Tip: Master the "press + pull + release" sequence. Muscle memory develops within minutes.
• Level 2: Active Defense Mode
  For crowded transit or high-traffic zones. Slide the side switch right to physically immobilize the ruby button—adding a second independent lock atop Level 1.
• Level 3: Ultimate Deadlock Mode
  

  We call this the Invisible Deadlock. This ingenious mechanism works like a childhood puzzle: solving it requires patience and delivers an "aha" moment.

  For absolute secrecy and security, the tertiary unlocking method is not disclosed online. 

  Note: Level 3 and Level 2 operate independently. Both must be disengaged before Level 1 unlocks.

2. Bolt Orientation
Directionless design—insert bolt either way. No orientation check needed in low light.

3. Zipper Locking Modes
● Standard Mode: Insert two zipper pulls into left/right slots for balanced tension.
● Compact Mode: Stack slender pulls together into one slot for tight spaces.

4. Anti-Theft Steel Cable (Optional)
Thread the 2mm cable through frames/handles, insert both loops into the lock. Ideal for bikes, helmets, lockers.

5. Multi-Function Bolt Tool
● Tip: Flat-head screwdriver (camera plates, tripods).
● Tail: Standard 4mm hex interface (quick repairs).

6. Tritium Vial Installation (Optional)
Dedicated slots on both sides. Insert vial, secure with sealant. Self-powered glow lasts ~25 years—no batteries. Enables instant location in darkness.

Maintenance & Care

• GR5 Titanium Body: Naturally corrosion-resistant (sweat, rain, seawater). Wipe with microfiber cloth. Avoid acidic/alkaline cleaners.
• Ruby/Ceramic Beads: Extreme Mohs hardness = scratch-resistant. Do not remove (press-fit assembly). Avoid ultrasonic cleaning.
• Locking Mechanism: Factory-calibrated. No lubrication needed.

Safety Warnings

⚠️ Non-TSA Certified: Contains no master key/backdoor. Do not use on checked luggage—security may destroy lock/luggage. For carry-on & EDC only.
⚠️ Impact Risk: Titanium body is robust, but ruby beads may crack if dropped on hard surfaces or used as impact tools.
⚠️ Keep Away from Children: Contains small parts (bolt, switches, tritium vials). Not a toy. Choking hazard.
⚠️ Cable Limitation: Steel cable offers light-duty security only. Not a substitute for high-security locks.

Titaner warrants the TC4/GR5 titanium lock body and core mechanism against functional defects under normal use. We provide professional repair/replacement at no cost.

Warranty Exclusions

1. Consumables/accessories (steel cable, tritium vials, ceramic beads).
2. Damage from misuse: forced impact, disassembly, non-intended use (e.g., pry bar).
3. Cosmetic wear: scratches, dents, stonewash texture evolution (does not affect function).
4. DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating wear from normal friction.

Operating Instructions

Crafted from TC4 titanium alloy, this system comprises a female buckle, male buckle, and two interchangeable connector rings at each end. The buckles integrate a magnetic-mechanical dual-locking mechanism; the connector rings attach to your gear and can be swapped tool-free as needed.

1. Connection (Magnetic Engagement)

Bring the buckle interfaces close together. Built-in N52-grade neodymium magnets guide automatic alignment and secure engagement. An audible "click" confirms full engagement of both magnetic and mechanical locks.

2. Unlocking & Separation

To release: ① Press; ② Pull straight apart.
✅ Resists accidental disengagement from daily pulling, vibration, or snagging
✅ Unlocks only upon deliberate two-step action

3. Replacing Connector Rings (Tool-Free)

Rings secure via twist-lock. Replacement: ① Press; ② Rotate 90° → swap.
All four GR5 titanium alloy series are universally compatible:
● U-Series (U4/U8/U12/U25 | 4/8/12/25mm): U-shaped open design—centers single items (keys, earphone cases) to prevent tilt/swing
● X-Series (X6/X8/X10 | 6/8/10mm): Reinforced titanium pin for narrow/closed openings; fully encased in Titanium Shield™
● D-Series (D12/D15/D20 | 12/15/20mm): Flat-top structure—neatly stacks flat items (multiple keys, ID cards) silently
● E-Series (E25/E30 | 25/30mm): Tri-glide structure—secure non-slip anchor for standard 1" (25mm) / 1.2" (30mm) webbing

4. Magnetic Temporary Mounting

Remove the male buckle: its N52 magnet adheres temporarily to ferromagnetic surfaces for lightweight emergency mounting.

5. 360° Rotation

Full rotational freedom minimizes tangling and twisting—gear stays organized and instantly accessible.

TC4 Titanium Body
Naturally corrosion-resistant. Wipe with soft dry cloth.

Locking & Rotation Mechanism
Prevent sand/fibers from entering. After exposure to mud, seawater, or sweat: rinse with clean water, dry thoroughly before reuse.

N52 Magnet End Face
Clean regularly to remove metal particles—ensures precise alignment and seal integrity.

Surface Finishes (Stone-Washed / Machined / Anodized)
Avoid abrasive cleaners or hard objects to preserve texture and anodized color layers.

Exclusions:

2. N52 magnet demagnetization due to prolonged high-temperature exposure
3. Natural patina, wear, or color evolution
4. Lost components from improper storage
5. Minor cosmetic scratches not affecting function
